New Baby

Yesterday my daughter gave birth to a son named Conall Thomas. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 4 oz. 19 inches.

I had a procedure yesterday morning never dreaming that the baby would come two days early. I wasn't able to go see Conall until my husband got home from work. My son and and his kids met us at the hospital. I couldn't drive or make big decisions. My camera doen't work any more. I bought a new camera and it's true you get what you paid for. I bought the cheapest and worst camera made. The camera is going back.

Today I went to the hospital by myself and was able to hold Conall for some time.

Sunny but Cool!

I finished the above mitered towel this evening. I enjoyed the day. I love it when it's sunny. I took a walk this morning and just enjoyed the colors changing and the smell of autumn in the air.

I didn't enjoy going to Walgreen's to get my flu shot. I took my mother with me. The clerk knew my name and asked where Mr. was. I hate getting shots and I don't remember if I got a shot last year or not.

I'm watching Letterman and he always has a segment on the Presidents. Tonight he had my favorite with Bush. It's the one where he says the left hand doesn't know where the right hand is doing. Only he puts out the wrong hands when he says it. My four year old granddaughter even knows her left from her right hand.
