Turn around and it's cold!

Yesterday my husband and I were sitting on our porch enjoying the lovely sun and 80 degrees. By 7 p.m. it was down to the 40's. What can I say it's Wisconsin.

The fingerless mittens I finished yesterday are made out of left over Opal and kid merino. The socks I finished Sunday are made out of Opal. I'm currently knitting socks with Cascade fingering yarn. It's great what you can find when you go stash searching.

Are you as sick of Obama, Clinton and McCain? Actually, I tired of the press. The press made more of Hillary's comments on the primaries in California and Robert Kennedy being assassinated. I love Keith Obermann but I thought he was over the top with his comments on Mrs. Clinton. I usually agree with Keith but I was just shaking my head.

Knit on all.

It's May, Huh!

I went out to breakfast this morning and darn near froze to death. I guess I thought it would be warm out. No such luck. I think we'll put the heat on tonight.

I've been knitting hand warmers from stash yarn. My batteries are low on my camera so I couldn't take a photo of everything I've been knitting. I have three socks started and I must finish the first one and get on to the second dreaded sock.

My husband isn't working his temp job so now I have him underfoot and on my nerves.

Happy Mother's Day

I hope your day was good. My kids came over with Pizza and a plant for my mother and me.

The grandchildren was so sweet. My three year Sidney has a boyfriend named Jayden. She's not bashful about it either.

Family can be a joy.
