June is going to fast

Summer is here and June is nearly over. The time just seems to fly by.

I've been knitting and knitting trying to fill up my etsy shop. One of these days I'll catch some one's eye.

I'm finally getting nearer to my weight goal. For so long I just seemed to stay the same which is really frustrating.

I went knitting Tuesday, Wednesday and today. It's so much fun to knit with friends.

I'm tired of the price of gas. The price is to much and is having a horrible impact on everyone. Every one I talk to thinks twice before getting in their cars. We need to make choices as to what we do and where we go. Also, many of my knitting friends are going into their stash instead of yarn shopping.

My Brave Boy, B&N & another grandson!

We had the grandchildren today. My hubby told my son he was bringing the kids to our house. Mitch's wound looks worse today but that's bruising around the cut.

I went to Barnes and Noble to knit today. We have another knitter joining us. It's always nice to meet any sock knitter. B&N had a wonderful selection of children's books at 50%. I was able to pick up gifts for Chritmas. Yes, my friends, I've started my Christmas shopping. Now I just have to remember where I put everything come Christmas.

My daughter called today to tell us she's expecting a boy. I'm sure she's very happy about that.

I've calmed down today. I was able to post my hand cloths on etsy tonight. Yay!

I'm watching the news and I feel so sorry for all the people in the flood zones. As my dad used to say, "There's always people with more problems then us."

Tim Russert, little boys and life

I was so shocked to here about Tim Russert's death. He will be missed. Tim left way to soon.

Today I had all these plans. I woke up early so that I could knit and tape. I wanted to finish a ball band cloth for my etsy site. I was going to take photos. Never got to the photos. Maybe tomorrow.

My son wanted me to baby-sit late this afternoon as he had a side job. I talked my husband into going with me because I was tired. After supper my grandson came in the house sobbing. He said he fell off his bike and hit a rock. The cut was very close to his right eye. When I tried to clean the wound I thought he needed one or two stitches. I called my son who got very angry with me. He couldn't leave because he just had cement delivered. I hung up on him and I took Mitch to the ER. My daughter-in-law called just as I was driving unto the campus. It took forever to get seen. Mitch was really good. He cried when his mom came but lost his voice when the doctor came in to talk to him. Instead of stitches the wound was superglued. He'll have a small scar.

I think I'll have a nervous breakdown now.
