Needed a lift!

I was feeling a little blue so I turned to listening to my favorite folk music and staring at my favorite actors picture from the 60's. I picture Adam/Pernell looking down at me and saying, "now snap out of it."

I was able to get out knitting with friends Friday and Sunday. It's always so nice to have a knitting outlet. Our Thursday group decided to change seating and make it more intimate. The big table we usually sit at is by the television at McDonalds so we are competing with the T.V. and watching that we don't block the route to the bathroom. It really turned out nicely.

I got my order from Knit Picks Friday and started a Christmas Stocking for next Christmas. I decided that my husband and I should have stockings at our kids homes when they have Christmas Brunch.

We visited our daughter and baby Nora this morning. Nora hasn't changed enough yet but she's growing. Like my daughter says - Nora eats, sleeps and fills her diaper.

My Favorite so Far!

Isn't she sweet? I have this photo on my screensaver.

I finished my second pair of socks on two needles. I think I'm hooked. I have a problem getting the socks going so I do one at a time for about 4 rows and then I put them together. I was given a tip to attach the two with a scrap of yarn. That was one of the best tips I ever got.

Baby is home!

Today after knitting I went to see my new granddaughter Nora. Such a sweety. She sleeps during the day and is up most of the night. The other grandma spent the night so Dad could get some sleep. Mom is nursing so she sleeps when Nora sleeps.

This grandma enjoyed the baby but had to leave to see an oral surgeon to have a tooth pulled. Now I'm not so happy.

I've got a lot of things racing around in the brain but I don't feel like doing anything. Hopefully, I'll get out tomorrow to see Nora again.

Introducing!!!!

Baby Nora Lea made her appearance into the world Jan. 8. Mamma and Daddy are just glad it's over. It's another grandchild for us to spoil. She already has three hand knit sweaters.
